Four generations of the developer's family have used the site for camping, hiking, horse back riding, all terrain vehicles and snowmobiles. 
 

 

 

 

The developers are enhancing the already scenic area with the 311 acre lake, clubhouse, marina, beach, nine 2-3 acre ponds, 7.5 miles of nature trails and other amenities in order to maximize the unique community experience of this re-created prairie oasis. 

 

The developers, a farm family of 7 siblings, were raised one mile from the site and the family has received numerous land conservation awards over the last 40 years. This project will epitomize ther goal of a green sustainable conservation-oriented environment


 

Timber Area.

 

This area has never been used for row crops and contains many mature oak, hickory and other native trees and plants, plus a reforested section where over 15,000 native hardwoord trees which were planted some eight years ago. Existing trails (pictured right) are especially popular with hikers and ATV riders. The pictures below show existing picnic and hiking areas.
